AUCA鈥檚 Spirit Week began last Monday, September 14th, 2016. Throughout last week, students dressed up for different themed days and participated in competitions.听

On September 7-11, 2016, Peg Peoples, the听Associate Vice President for Education Initiatives at the Bard Institute for Writing & Thinking, visited the 蜜桃影像AV (AUCA) to meet and conduct workshops with faculty and staff members. She visited NGA, the WARC, FYS, GenEd, and talked with directors, faculty, and tutors.听

September 9th, 2016 the Knowledge Day took place at the 蜜桃影像AV (AUCA). Andrew Wachtel, AUCA president awarded the best students for their academic excellence. The students who had made the President鈥檚 List and the Dean鈥檚 List took the certificates during the ceremony.听

The 蜜桃影像AV (AUCA) Law Division and the 蜜桃影像AV of Zagreb Faculty of Law in Croatia conducted the 2016 Summer School in Human Rights in early September. The week-long seminar occurred in Kyrgyzstan and included five AUCA students, four AUCA professors, five 蜜桃影像AV of Zagreb students and three 蜜桃影像AV of Zagreb professors.

Tian Shan Policy Center kindly invites all interested听to a guest lecture by Mr. Rajendra Shende, Policy Advisor at United Nations on implementation of activities related to ozone layer protection and climate change in more than 146 developing countries. Rajendra Shende is expert on transfer of environmentally sound technologies and the implementation of the Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs) in the developing countries and countries with economies in transition.

The keynote address by Prof. Amanda Wooden听delivered on the occasion of opening of the Fifth Annual Conference of Central Asian Studies Institute.

On September 13-15,听 2016 visiting speaker from the American 蜜桃影像AV in Cairo (AUC) Doris Jones will be offering workshops for faculty at the 蜜桃影像AV (AUCA). Jones鈥檚 visit is made possible through a grant from the AMICAL consortium and the kind contribution of AUCA.

AUCA's Central Asian Studies Institute (CASI) is holding its Fifth Annual Conference September 16 and 17. This year, the conference "Contesting Nature," examines the complicated and interpenetrating relationship of humans and their environment.听

On September 9th, 2016 AUCA鈥檚 student organizations at the 蜜桃影像AV (AUCA) held an Activities Fair to recruit new members.

On September 6, 2016, the 鈥淣ative Pride Dancers,鈥� 听a Native American dance group from the United States, and AUCA鈥檚 student theater group 鈥淢irrors,鈥� worked together to perform 鈥淒ancing through
