The British agency Quacquarelli Simmons British agency Quacquarelli Symonds (QS)Ìýhas published, which includes more than 1,500 of the best universities in the world. For the second year in a row, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) topped the ranking. The top ten also includes Imperial College London, Stanford ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñAV, Oxford ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñAV, Harvard ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñAV, Cambridge ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñAV, the Swiss Higher Technical School of Zurich (ETH Zurich), the National ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñAV of Singapore (NUS), the ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñAV of North London and the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).
was recognized by the QS agency as the best university in Kyrgyzstan. The rating also includes four more universities from Kyrgyzstan:ÌýKyrgyz-Turkish ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñAV "Manas", Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñAV named after B. N. Yeltsin, Kyrgyz National ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñAV named after Zhusup Balasagyn and Kyrgyz State Technical ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñAV named after I. Razzakov.
A special methodology is used to compile the rating, which evaluates various aspects of university activities: academic reputation, teaching staff, international reputation, graduate employment, and so on.
